This medical mask on your face is not flirtatious
and the “Venetian Carnival” has a new name:
“COVID 19” we are dancing to its ugly tunes,
it has killed many musicians of the orchestra.
I fold up the magnificent dress, a piece of art in itself
made for the “Venetian Carnival”, to attend in glory,
the flight to Venice has been cancelled, “Staycation “
instead of “Vacation”. Curfew us the new worldview!
Stay inside your home, stay away from people,
do not mingle, create your own “Venetian Carnival”,
experience what you are made of,
is the mirror you used to admire
yourself in, broken?
