Interior Ink Choices
TheBookPatch.com has 2 color choices and 2 color qualities.
Premium Color: This is a great choice for books with a lot of pictures, like cookbooks and photo books. This interior ink choice is linked to the 80lb. Coated White paper for the best results.
Standard Color: We love the standard color for projects that have a few color headings or diagrams and it can be used with either the 80lb. Coated White paper stock or the 60lb. Uncoated white paper stock.
Premium Black & White: Rich, full coverage ink from intense blacks to the subtlest greys. Our premium black can be paired with all three paper choices.
Standard Black & White: The standard and most popular choice for economical printing and pairs nicely with our 60lb. Uncoated or Cream paper.
Cover Finish Choices
Every one of our hardcover book covers is printed with premium color inks in two available finishes. The most popular is the glossy finish. We recently added a matte finish and it is starting to become more popular, especially in the coloring book category.
We suggest to use the glossy finish because it makes the book look more professional. If it is a cookbook, it will be easier to clean when used in the kitchen.
Benefits of Professional Hardcover Book Printing
You have many choices when choosing a binding option at TheBookPatch.com. We have Perfect binding, Hardback binding, and Spiral binding. The most professional is clearly the hardcover binding, which allows authors to have full creative control over their work and will make your book stand out.
The perceived value and credibility of a hardback book are higher than the other two formats. The binding will allow you to showcase your work with quality and durability.
If you’re looking to sell your book, the public knows and expects to pay more for a hardcover book. Self-publishing authors can benefit from the various binding options to enhance the aesthetic appeal and professionalism of their finished products.
