He graduated from Salem College, (now - Salem International University) in Salem, West ‘by-God’ Virginia. His desire to participate at Salem in the Humanics program led to his work fulltime as a YMCA Director “replacing” William “Bill” Bellick, the ‘Y’ Director at Norristown.
