This book is a compilation of the senior class group photos from Nescopeck High School (Nescopeck, PA) from 1903-1967. These photos were displayed in the main hall. They were never vandalized. Once the school merged with the Berwick Area School District, the photos were taken down and put into storage. This book was published in an effort to bring them back to the community to share once again with families reminiscing about NHS. The photos have been digit ...

From the mountains of Wyoming, a river flows across Montana, scattering seeds along the way. Somewhere on the eastern plateau of the Great Northern Plains, the last of the seeds wash up onto the river bank. In 1879, homesteader Silas Rye, discovers the unlikely grove and claims the land on which they stand. Weathering years of drought and hardship, he creates Aspen Grove Ranch. His granddaughter, Fanny, struggles to hold onto the ranch through two World Wars, the Vietnam conflict, and the attack on 9/11. Drawing her strength from the mystic ...

Bohemian Skipper is a collection of stories that I have compiled after having spent more than three quarters of a century on three of our country's most famous rivers, the James and Appomattox in Virginia and the Niagara River that straddles New York an Ontario, Canada. This book is unique in two ways. first, each story stands alone, yet all 28 chapters will come together to tell a much larger and richer story. And secondly, as a child from age four years I would ride the tugboats that my dad skippered and learn many trades and crafts from old world shipwrights and fender makers. And in later years I would learn that my playground had been the town of Henricus, America's second English ...

Having grown up as the son of the last private owner of Bonneyville Mills in Northern Indiana, Carl Mauck and his sister Carol Jean had an idyllic childhood there. Although there have been numerous articles in newspapers and periodicals through the years, no writer has ever told the complete story or done justice to the lives of the men and women who have kept Bonneyville so vivid in the minds and hearts of the residents of Elkhart County and Northern Indiana. Even in a biography preface of Edward Bonney, who built the Mill in 1837, there was no mention of Bonney's life in "our" Bonneyville. This book which compiles and shares previously unpublished photos and information about the Mill, ...
