The stories in this collection range from a couple of strangers clinging to a lafe raft on the high seas, to a couple of strangers thrown together in a plot to scare the bejesus out of their ex spouses, to an artist and a writer striving to deal with the reality of the dispair caused by a tyranical, idiot president who is making artistic life or even ordinary day to day life nearly impossible in a world he has turned upside down.

David Palone is hurt and alone. Abandoned by his parents at a young age and having spent much of his childhood in the foster care system, he now lives on his own and trusts no one. Now, living on the streets in Youngstown, Ohio, David's past catches up to him, and he must figure out two things: how to reconcile with his parents' past actions and the cold, unforgiving, isolated life it has given him, and whether or not he can begin to trust again.

Since childhood History has intrigued me. Because history paints so many lessons for us it has heavily influenced my topics for writing.
