Book Synopsis
A poisoning attempt on the life of J.P.Gilmore, one of the wealthiest men in New York, has Lieutenant Gordon Nunn temporarily assigned to protect Gilmore and find out who is after the industry giant.
Though there may be business associates who could have been burned over the years, in general, Gilmore is liked by his company employees and loved by his family.
With his partner and long time friend Sergeant Phil Cantino, Nunn enters the world of the wealthy. When a second attempt is made on Gilmore's family Nunn must find the guilty party before someone is killed.
