This book came at such a surprise. The message behind the book is amazing. All teenagers, parents, judges, lawyers, teachers, mentors and adults should pick up a copy of this book. It talks about the breakdown in the relationships between parents, and their young adult kids. It talks about fake friends, and take you through vulnerabilities of young adults. It also show how easy it is to get sucked into the faulty criminal justice system behind a lie, or mishap.

This short book was very inspiring encouraging and remind me how people of color get single out by police and caught up in peer pressure. It also show how you can escape and deal with peer pressure as a youth. This book is all-around real to the core of our youth and how friends and society feel and think about you.

I appreciate the author’s cautionary tale to youth to take care in one’s choices even in the face of difficulties at home. The bravery and transparency in this tale will certainly speak to young friends. The author uses his own tragedy to help others. That is the best we can do.
