Book Synopsis
F1, Formula One, the elite, male dominated, auto racing in Europe. This is the world Samantha Ridgeway has had her heart set on since a teenager racing in the mid-west of the United States. She had won in every car she drove. From go-carts, to midgets, to sprint cars. She went to Europe, and in time, got a chance to be a stand-by driver and then a car of her own in a lesser league. When her contract is not renewed after eight years for the Formula 3,000, the training ground for F1, she takes the offered seat in an Indy Car for one of the leading teams owned by Richard Stetson. Little did she know it would change her life, forever.
About The Author
Shipping clerk, elevator operator, diesel mechanic, salvage diver, draftsman, telephone lineman and installer, Fred Seden has done them all. He spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict followed by 33 years with the Bell System. He now writes the kind of adventure stories he liked to read while growing up in New York City. Having an interest in auto racing since he was 16 provided the inspiration for this novel.
