What do you do when you've lost your best friend? Someone you lived your whole life with & shared your most intimate thoughts & ideas with. It's not that you don’t have others to share yours with.. You do, but you don’t get theirs anymore... That’s what you miss. The Bounce. The part of their life, their mind, their heart that they shared with you that made you more than what you were five minutes before the conversation between you began. How do you overcome the loss and find yourself again? How do we survive the awful emptiness we feel when we lose our best friend, child, parent or soulmate? "The Weathering of Strawberry Ben" is a journey of bereavement from demonic dependencies to choking desperation and from helpless sadness to despairing soul-thievery. The story also expresses one's abrupt awakening to a seemingly strange new life of unconditional love and radical forgiveness. Paradoxical circumstances leave one, unashamedly, wanting more. Would Strawberry Ben kill himself?
