Book Synopsis
Marie Dodd Collard always said her greatest hobby was writing poetry. She never bragged or admitted to being a poet, but she was gifted to write on any subject at any time, even in the middle of the night. If inspiration came – no matter when – that’s when her pen got busy. Some of her poems are tributes, some memorials, many done by request, some for those she loved, others about places she’d been or lived or imagined to be. In other words she wrote history.

This is her second book of poems. Written between 1986 and 1995, they are a tribute to her life, friends and neighbors while living in Windom and Honey Grove, Texas.

This was my great aunt on my dads side. She was always wrong poems as long as I can remember. She was a very sweet lady. Her inspiration in each of her poems will be cherished forever! Rip Aunt Marie
