Book Synopsis
Anyone at any given time may have suicidal ideas. All suicide attempts should be taken seriously.

Sometimes other emergency providers need to be involved in the suicidal individual’s healing process. Not eliciting outside help would be like telling a physically sick person not to go to the medical doctor for examination or medication. I am of the opinion that we have to look at the problem, look up to God for our source of direction, and if need be look around at options in the community (emergency personnel) and Oneness Pentecostal Apostolic Church.

Suicide is not foreign in scripture. Using a modified "CPR" assessment scale, detailed examples of such biblical people who were under high stress situations which could potentially lead one to suicide, and, the possible lessons we can learn from them are outlined in this resource.

Having more Oneness Pentecostal Apostolic church personnel trained in this area will enable us to take preventative, intervention, and postvention measures.
