Book Synopsis
I was a former college basketball standout at USC Upstate. I had a great college career there and I was sure that I would continue playing basketball long after my college days were over. Unfortunately, January 6th, 2007 was a day that would change my life forever. I'll never forget that day because it marked the day that my college basketball career would end abruptly from a knee injury. Prior to that, I had devoted my entire life to the journey of becoming a pro. I worked day in and out in order to give myself the best chance to succeed, and the last thing on my mind was what would happen if I didn't make it. What is one to do if Plan A doesn't work out? How do you stay focused on a goal, but at the same time, keep your options open? How can you balance out your life, but also shoot and make close to 300 jump shots per session, per day? For anyone aspiring to be a pro, join me as I discuss my journey.
