Book Synopsis
“I’m Ready to Receive” what a mandate, what a declaration? What a word of faith? It is a pronouncement that one is ready to experience what is to come. It is also a declaration that we have done the things to prepare for reception of things that we may not have had before. When God gives me a teaching and preaching theme it is something that I have prayed about and meditated on at length. I do not take lightly what God desires to share with His people. Because on any given Sunday, people come to the sanctuary, tune into live social media broadcasts, sneak onto a Zoom Bible study session sometimes simply because they have run out of options and are losing hope. The reality of life in the 21st century is that although statistically folks may be choosing alternative paths to spiritual enrichment outside of the church, God has a way of drawing people back to Him, and as the Body of Christ we have to be ready to receive whoever comes and we have to know that those who come are most likely in a season where they are spiritual ready to receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ but don’t even realize that they are.
