Paul Hallas has written, compiled and edited a number of publications for entertainers over the years, but his efforts pale in comparison with the late Arthur Setterington who was one of Britain’s most prolific creators of magic and mentalism over his lifetime. Paul is proud to have known him, and glad to have been associated with “Strange Powers”.
Always willing to donate a routine to a magic magazine on request, Arthur had probably contributed to every magic magazine ever to appear in the U.K. in his lifetime and several overseas as well. Some of his books “Off Beat Mentalism” and “Straight Line mysteries” released by Hades Publications in Canada are still obtainable.
