Book Synopsis
A Pathway Forward: Overcoming life’s twists and turns, is a book that was inspired by a series of messages that I preached to the church that I lead in Columbia, South Carolina. I began putting these thoughts together in the throes of a global pandemic. These are biblically grounded expositions on how we ought to view the idea of certain and assured recovery that is coming to this world and to the lives of believers despite all that has taken place with covid-19. Many famous and not-so-famous people have crossed over in this season and at last count 603 thousand Americans had lost their lives, and 3.91 million people globally had succumbed to this dreaded virus. We are not yet out of the woods with this novel coronavirus, as people are still dying, and new immunizations have slowed dramatically. However, I believe that God is calling us to forge a pathway forward because this too shall pass, and when it passes, I believe we will be better off than when it all started.
