JESUS. The world knows His name, but not everyone believes in His name. So why do we? We believe Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world because He said He was. And we believe Him because He performed miracles and spoke words of hope and truth. We believe because He died on a cross for sin and amazingly rose from the dead, proving to be the Son of God and proving that everything He said is true. Because it's true, “God highly exalted him and bestowed on him a name which is above every name that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow … and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” His name is above all names!

The various composers of the Psalms talked about God in majestic, untouchable terms, but they also talked about Him in intimate, accessible terms. They dared to describe their interaction with the Creator of the universe as a walk. So, the purpose of this book is to move beyond just having the right theology about God to experiencing an intimate relationship with Him, to truly walking with Him. There is a big difference between knowing about God, reading about God, and talking about God compared to actually walking with God. The marvelous truth is that the majestic Creator of the universe invites us to walk with Him.
