Two forsaken young men enduring unrelated journeys are persistently burdened by social control. While neither has knowledge of the other’s hardship, an unsought parallel emerges which prompts creed syncretism and a startling change of course for them both.

A recent college graduate naively pursues what he believes will be a meaningful vocation in the field of human service provision. He immediately faces hardship and struggle as the multiple political and societal protests that surround him destroy his resolve. The protagonist’s only salvation is found in an enigmatic confidant who selflessly provides the young advocate with the lone source of compassion and reason that he will ever recognize during the ill-fated pursuit he was unprepared for.
