In the summer of 2017, Christopher Eller began an oral history project with his mother, Candyce Eller. What follows is a record of those conversations, which aim to act as a reference for future generations and show the changes in our family dynamic from the early 20th century to the present. The emphasis of these exchanges is on the events and emotions of those involved, presented in a format that is readable yet engaging, bringing the people of our family’s past to life.
