A visual transcript taken from letters a soldier wrote during World War II. It charts his journey from Mondamin, Iowa to Europe and back. He goes from basic training to paragliding into the Battle of the Bulge. A first hand look at what it was like to be a soldier during WWII.

Bas Verheijen, former director of the Hyperbarics Health and Wellness Foundation, and program participant Amanda Burrill, a military veteran working through severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), persistent concussion symptoms (PCS) and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), created this basic guide so that all program participants could have a comprehensive, integrative guide to healing. This is valuable information for anyone who’s been affected by TBI, PCS and/or PTSD, encouraging patients to be knowledgeable, active participants in their recoveries and overall well-being.
