Gary is at wits end and he’s finally made a decision to take all of the gathered evidence he has and decides to report everything to the Department of Justice. He finally comes to grips that there’s much more to be done about racial issues in America. Gary also starts to repair the relationship he once had with his son Gary, Jr. A book that will make you realize that life is more than just a paycheck and a pension and it’s about doing what’s right.

The ending of the series, Gary has gained his sanity back along with his soul. He continues to expose truths that he’s experienced and dealt with. He begins to build back the relationships he has with his family and friends. He also goes through a lot of emotions to end the series as he speaks his truth about life, the police force and how society has changed in so many ways in regards to police and citizens. The big question is what is his next move in his life now that he is no longer on the police force.

Gary and Joe head into a city of turmoil after a young black man was killed at the hands of four police officers. The family is looking for justice for Kenny, a young man who turned his life around and was killed without reason. The investigation takes some hits as the police department isn’t cooperating with Gary and Joe as they are trying to find answers. This case is more emotional for Gary as this hits home because he has a young black son growing up in society. Will they solve this case with all the obstacles they’re facing? Time will tell as private investigative work is never easy.

Another case, another city for Gary and Joe as they head into uncharted territory with the Department of Justice. They are called to investigate the death of an inmate in a prison. As the news gets ahead on the case in wondering what happened, Gary, Joe and Cary from the DOJ have to piece together whether this inmate was killed by another prisoner or corrupt correctional officers who mistreat prisoners daily. While they are investigating this case, they learn of a lot of other things going on inside of these prison walls. This case comes down to who did it, why and what goes on inside of prisons in different parts of the world.

Gary and Joe are back and involved with another case where they meet Jenny who is a police officer. She was sexually assaulted and raped by another police officer on the force. While she is trying hard to keep it together, she knows the brotherhood and code blue mindset of police officers. She calls on Gary and Joe to investigate this case and bring her attacker to justice. The obstacles are against Gary and Joe but they push on and fight to change the politics of policing in America.
