In Fairytale Land the gray fox, eSmith, encounters a foxy fox and falls desperately in love. He sets out to buy her freedom from a thug known as Zeke. The gray fox is in a race against time to acquire the barter needed to buy her freedom once the deal has been made. The exciting adventure that began in Book One, “Turn a Blind Eye,” will end here in Book Two, “One Eye Open,” Also in the publication are 10 black & white illustrations, and the short tale, “The Wolf and the Callous Child.”

Kelly is terrified of shadows and darkness. When she starts having nightmares about long, narrow, dark hallways, she is fearful, but dismisses them.
