From Sovereign to Serf author Roger Sayles has done a masterful job of enumerating exactly where our rights come from, how they are interpreted legally, and how they have been continually eroded since virtually the inception of the Republic, and certainly since the 14th Amendment and subsequent legal deceptions. Benson is that the US Constitution explicitly disallows a tax on one’s labor, and that the 16th Amendment took “Income” to mean the same thing as used in the Corporation Excise Tax Act of 1909.
