The last two years have been a frenzy. I have seen firsthand the process by which our political system is designed to destroy our future. In this book, I hope to convey to you the series of events that led to my humble beginnings in political media. I also wish to warn you of a dire future that is set to become our reality. Pandemic poems is a collection of poems written since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. As a trans nonbinary human living in Texas, the last three years have been filled with emotions from sadness and horror to trans joy and hope. This book is filled with poems about loss, oppression, community, and trans joy. I am an activist, advocate, and community organizer. I have seen and participated in grassroots political and community work. I have a love of people and a passion for truth and justice. These poems describe my world over the last three years.
