This book is a compilation of letters written by the wife of a USAF pilot while she lived in Vietnam during the year, 1964. Her husband was assigned to Bien How, an Air Force base outside Saigon. She was not authorized to accompany her husband, so she went on her own and lived in Saigon, there she was able to see her husband from time to time.. She lived through a cholera epidemic, a coup, as well as bombings in the city of Saigon. She overcame many challenges but also experiences many joyful occasions, and came away with a great fondness of the Vietnamese people and their country.
