A Cross Bearer's Deliverance is a memoir of my life beginning in poverty stricken 1950’s Danville,Virginia and chronicles my experiences as I was moved up and along the east coast growing up in Boston,Massachusetts.While constructing my story it brought forth memories I suppressed of love, betrayal, devotion and revelation shown through those closest to me. It demonstrates that even though everything in my surroundings suggest I go on a self deprecating journey........I choose one of enlightenment. Join me on that journey!

Receiving a call to the ministry at a very young age, Charles (Chuck) Higgins was driven to obey that word. He began his first pastorate in 1951, and for over 50 years faithfully ministered as senior pastor in six Nazarene churches and as an interim pastor in another five. He and his wife Marge also traveled all over the world as evangelists, preaching and touching the lives of thousands of people with their gift of music. Entering denominational employment in 1956 Pastor Williams has served the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a pastor/evangelist, conducting over 25 crusades and assisting in 21 others, to include those with E.E. Cleveland, and C.D. Brooks. It was also his privilege to conduct evangelistic series in Belize, Guyana,Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Tucson, Arizona, overcoming many obstacles as he stepped forward in faith.
