After graduating from the College of Wooster in 1967, Roger Williamson enlisted in the US Army knowing that his path would likely lead to the jungles of Vietnam. By 1968 he ended up there as an Advisor to the Army of the Republic of Vietnam. Even far from home, his connection to his family and friends remained strong. So many letters from the people he loved -especially his Mom- kept him encouraged. He wrote often offering bland details of the war to keep his family from worrying about his safety. His stories show the fear, frustration, anger and sometimes humorous situations he encountered as a young Lieutenant in an increasingly unpopular war.

The Eighteenth Engineers tells the story of the incredible work performed by the men of the 18th Engineers Regiment in WW1. They were among the first 75,000 A. E. F. troops to arrive in France in late August of 1917. There they built massive docks large enough to berth 10 transport ships end to end. Warren R Barrett was a career US Air Force Officer. He was a glider pilot during World War II. This book describe his military career from 1939 until his retirement in 1960. He died in 2007.
