A History of Western Hills Church of Christ shares a story of how the Church of Christ developed in Texas, Bell County, and eventually in Temple, Texas. Matthew Stephen has a great interest in the health of the local church. This project was inspired by a desire to better understand our local church's history to help us better steward its future. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, his curiosity led him to inquire how churches responded to the 1918-1919 pandemic flu.
