This is the first book in the Chains Unchained series. Chains Unchained; Friends and Sinners" is a devotional book put together to reach a generation and a culture that has slipped through the cracks and been largely ignored by mainstream churches. The devotions in this book have been written by musicians from Christian hard rock, metal and punk bands, authors, record company execs, youth pastors and friends that have a desire to reach those in this underground culture.

For nearly a decade since I set forth in my quest to discover many of the ‘mysteries’ of which Paul wrote about, and the truth about the spiritual Kingdom of God, I began focusing a great deal of time and study on two major questions… why does the church not teach the things of the Kingdom, and also why do most people who attend these institutions rarely grow to access the power of that Kingdom? The answers that eventually came to me were not just from research alone but primarily from His Wisdom. And it is in this book that I wish to share how I came to the realization as to why the church system exists, and why it has always been a construct of man and not Christ.

Gary is at wits end and he’s finally made a decision to take all of the gathered evidence he has and decides to report everything to the Department of Justice. As he reports everything, he worries about what’s to come of his life as he can no longer be a police officer. He finally comes to grips that there’s much more to be done about racial issues in America. The ending of the series, Gary has gained his sanity back along with his soul. He continues to expose truths that he’s experienced and dealt with. He begins to build back the relationships he has with his family and friends. He also goes through a lot of emotions to end the series as he speaks his truth about life, the police force and how society has changed in so many ways in regards to police and citizens. The big question is what is his next move in his life now that he is no longer on the police force.

Defeating Petey is a story about tragedy, trial, and triumph. Written by former Firefighter Engineer, Jonathon Hall, this candid telling details the tragic collision that killed his father, Tom Hall, and the trials that ensued as he fought to find justice for his mother and son - ultimately pulling him away from his dream career as a Urban Firefighter.
