This cookbook has 6 generations of good ole Southern family recipes in it. I grew up eating REAL food, not FAST FOOD and I wanted to share those foods with the world. I wanted this cookbook to represent the south so I included some other things as well. There are cute meal in a jar and gift in a jar recipes, as well as Dutch oven recipes and recipes for canning. We can't forget the children so I have made a special section just for them, "Kid's Corner." If you like homemade ice cream, homemade pies, homemade biscuits, fried okra, black eye peas, and turnip greens, then you will LOVE this cookbook. I hope anyone who reads this book will gain something he/she didn’t know before reading it. The book contains 5 sub-books about the following explorations: 1). NFL and Capitalism, 2). My list of the greatest inventions, 3). Manhattan being the greatest city in the world, 4). How I feel about Vietnam, in light of 70,000 American lives lost, 5) Russian relations, and 7)my USA cookbook for Italy. My personal feelings about the book are that of fulfilling the desire of emptying out my head of wisdom and feelings about certain subjects while I am able to recall.
