Book Synopsis
The metaverse we envision will be a fully functioning economy where individuals and businesses will be able to create, own, invest, sell, and be rewarded for an incredibly wide range of “work” that produces “value” that is recognized by others. It will be an experience that spans both the digital and physical worlds, private and public networks, and open and closed platforms, to bring together people from around the world. It will be populated by “content” and “experiences” that are created and operated by an incredibly wide range of contributors, some of whom are independent individuals, while others might be informally organized groups or commercially focused enterprises.
We are still witnessing the beginning stages of the evolution of the metaverse. Activity in the metaverse never pauses or resets, it continues perpetually. Even though special events will come and go, the metaverse will be a living experience that exists in real-time for everyone to enjoy. It's time to jump in!
