1960-1968 Active Navy
In 1967 assigned orders to Vietnam and attended Weapons training at USMC/Camp Lejeune California then to NAS/Whidbey island for Counter-Insurgency Training. Assigned to MACV (Military Assistance Command Vietnam). In August 1968 Med-e-Vaced to the USN Hospital at Millington TN (at that time still a functional hospital). Placed on the TDRL (Temporary Disabled Retirement List) and in 1972 place on Permeant retirement and on the Navy CRSC list.
Doug is married to Bevelyn Ann (Morgan) Justice and has two (2) children still serving in the USA/TNANG and one (1) son (previous marriage) who served in the MOANG.
In 2006, Doug founded, along with four (4) other personnel, a 501c3 disaster response/training organization
