Have you ever heard that God turned his back on the Son? Or that Jesus had to suffer in hell in addition to dying on the cross? Many people teach that Jesus Christ had to die spiritually on the cross. However, the Bible points to a perfect sacrifice made by Jesus Christ. Does a spiritual death of Christ fit with what scripture says concerning Christ’s death? The answer to this question is of the utmost importance.
This book will address the “Jesus died spiritually” teaching and how a spiritual death on the cross would affect the entirety of scripture and core doctrines. Special attention is given to the picture of baptism, communion, the types of Christ, the importance of the virgin birth, and gospel crucifixion account.

Pastor Tyler has been the pastor of Billings Bible Church since 2009. He came to trust the Lord as his Savior at a very young age and has spent his adult life in some form of ministry. He has a genuine love for people and the Gospel. Pastor Tyler has been married to his wife Melissa since 1998 and they have one child.
