Book Synopsis
Frightening otherworldly creatures suddenly appear in a small town after a series of disappearances. Investigator Jo Newman sees the missing people she’s been hired to find as a doorway to profit. When she discovers the creatures are looking for her, she and her assistant must decide whether to walk away, or delve deeper and risk coming face-to-face with an unknown form of evil.
About The Author
Rodd Matsui started making films in 1977 at age 10, when he found his family's old hand-wound 8mm home movie camera hidden away in the umbrella closet. He trained briefly under Disney animator Dan MacManus. In 1986 he co-wrote and co-directed "Dark Romances", starring Brinke Stevens. He has created makeup and effects for popular films and shows like "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare", "The X-Files", "Batman and Robin", "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", “Tank Girl”, and many more.
