Book Synopsis
When Ashton Dweller is born, people are drawn to him like moths to a flame. They obey his every command, and even before he can talk; controlling minds is as easy as breathing.

When Ashton Dweller is 14 years old, he loses his parents in a fatal car accident, after they are hit by a drunk driver, and is sent to live with his abusive uncle in Lawndale, California, leaving behind everything he ever knew, including his best friend.

When Ashton Dweller is 18 years old, his life changes forever, and he questions everything he has ever known. When he finds out that his parents were not killed by a drunk driver but committed suicide, he dedicates his life to finding out what really happened. What he finds opens a new world of secrets, a dangerous family history, a rising army, and a rebirth of his powers, which can only stay dormant for so long.

The Dwellers is one of the best and most soul crushing books you will ever read. It is a fast paced, thrill ride that will keep you hooked until the end. The characters and story is phenomenal and it's hard to believe this piece of art was written by a 15 year old. The book is honestly one of the best things I've ever read. I am still crying over it, just wow you need to read this book.

The Dwellers is a fantastic book with a very strong plot line. This book is a rollercoaster with its ups and downs and the many emotions it makes you go through, I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an amazing science fiction novel with a twist of action throughout it. Alyssa Cassese shows the lives of these vulnerable characters and makes you feel apart of them until she breaks your heart with their fate. This book is fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

I have yet to read The Dwellers, but I can already tell I will love it. Alyssa is an amazing person, and her amount of dedication and pride for her book is admirable. She inspires me to continue with my own writing. Plus she's only 15. That is insane, and a huge accomplishment in itself. I can't wait to purchase and read The Dwellers; I'm sure it will be an amazing novel. Everyone should at least read it once and see if they like it.

The Dwellers is a fantastic read. I picked it up last night and read for 3 solid hours, and picked it up again this morning before I even had breakfast and didn't put it down until I finished it. The storyline is compelling and interesting, the characters are beyond loveable and captivating, I fell in love with them almost as soon as they were introduced, and although this book broke my heart, I see that as nothing more than a side-effect of amazing writing. Alyssa Cassese is more talented at 15 than some of the older more experienced authors who's stories I have read, and I honestly hope she continues to write and publish wonderful works of art such as this one. I am an avid book lover, and this book has made it to the top 5 of my list, and I'll recommend it to anyone who will listen.

What an amazing accomplishment for this young woman's first effort. Rich and complex, with equal doses of fantasy and reality, this book will make even the hardest heart both laugh and cry. I look forward to following her career and future efforts, I predict she will conquer stage and screen in addition to already conquering print. Well done!

I haven't read this book yet, but I look forward to it. I've given it five stars because even if I don't end up enjoying it, Alyssa still deserves wonderful reviews. Her dedication and pride are something to truly be admired. Even if this is not your type of book, it should still strike you as amazing that a fifteen year old wrote it. I myself am sixteen, and have wanted to be an author since I could speak. I've had people tell me countless times that I will never get to where I want to be, at such a young age. Alyssa gives me hope. I'm actually working on my own book now, and I suppose I sort of owe that to her. So, I can't wait until I get my paycheck and can actually read this book. I'm sure it will be great. Thank you Alyssa for writing The Dwellers, and for being inspirational. I hope that nothing but good things come your way. I know you're going to do great things.
