Book Synopsis
Hanna Kellner, an ordinary young woman, returns from her university back to her hometown in search of her best friend Aurora, who has recently gone missing. A mysterious stranger appears in her small town, and Hanna soon has reason to believe he is responsible for Aurora going missing. Hanna follows the stranger into a new reality. Far-off memories begin to arise in her as she is carried from the realm of gray as we know it…into the world of Soulhue, an alternative reality where the capacity of the human brain is amplified through the execution of transmutation, skin transformation, psychic and natural manifestation. As we would see them as angels and demons, witches, and water humanoids, they see themselves as us and them. Ghosts and auras are visible to the human eye, and this world is full of beings who are not quite human—questioning the definition of what it means to be “human.”
