I can't wait to finally see all this beautiful illustrations come together in a book!

With a mesh of story and illustration Rieth delivers a striking message resonant with audiences of all ages, exploring the state of academics today and the implications of which on students; a tale of what happens when one isn't destined for a spot in the STEM fields. Following Lucy a gosling dedicated to the visual arts, Rieth explores the impacts of a one-size-fits-all for-profit educational system and the ongoing battle in classrooms today of teachers v. screens. All the while, the story is beautifully painted out in a celebration of the arts, calling upon the creativity of both geese and reader alike. In its content and artwork the piece delivers, making it a good choice for the fledging student or artist.

My 6th grade daughter has always been interested in dance. This book kept her attention while she spent as much time laughing at the illustrations as reading the words. The pictures in the book are so detailed that the reader should appreciate them carefully. Recently, we lost one of our art teachers to budget cuts so the message in this short book is important. I don't know if my daughter will choose a career in dance but I want it to be an option for her to find out through a well-trained fine arts department when she gets to high school. By the way, I enjoyed it as much as my daughter did! It is a little bit too advanced for my 7 year-old-son, but I think he will certainly enjoy the pictures.
