It also resonates with one who can identify with grief, betrayal, lost loves and inner struggles. Carsen's attention to detail fills the profound with simplicity.

This is an excellent book of poetry! Well written, thoughtful insights into the depths of people's emotions not often(or easily), expressed. The author captured the mysterious, authentic beauty of New Hampshire. This author has amazing talent, this is a must read!

I enjoyed every single poem in this book. It speaks to the simple pleasures and the collective trials of ordinary people. Some touched my heart, others made me think deeply. There was nothing pretentious about this book. It is poetry that everyone could enjoy and relate to. I'm so glad I found it. Will certainly be purchasing his second book of work.
