Seagull Island

Ernest Adamič, a movie director, recounts his adventures during filming of a documentary about seagulls on a deserted island in the Adriatic. He poetically describes the lives of seagulls, as well as the tricks needed to approach the birds and nests to get priceless up-close views of their habits. The small crew faces extreme weather conditions and struggles to fight off intruders, who could possibly ruin the project by stealing precious seagull eggs from hidden nests.
