Patterned Paragraph: Student Edition

The Writing Wraps program provides incremental, systematic, cyclical lessons that build fundamental concepts of writing. Using “Magic 3s” – easy-to-understand threesomes to know, do, and avoid – students practice, adding one skill at a time until they gain proficiency.

Patterned Paragraphs guides students how to write paragraphs with basic patterns. It contains ten units organized into three modules. Each unit has three lessons and culminates in a writing project with a rubric that clearly identifies the assignment’s requirements.

Teachers may use the curriculum in their classrooms, or parents and tutors may pair the workbook with in-person or recorded instruction. Automatically graded electronic exercises ensure that students receive immediate feedback on their efforts and that they can clarify any misunderstandings and correct any mistakes.
