Book Synopsis
This book of movable scales fills a void left by most scale books available to guitarists.

In general, guitar scales books make an effort to show every scale ever devised - guitarists are discouraged and may learn few, if any, useful scales. In most books, scales are shown in a theoretical order, so it’s hard to tell which of the scales are actually used by practicing musicians. If numbers are shown in scale charts, they usually refer to which finger plays which note, sacrificing any clue where each note falls in the scale and therefore how it’s best used. And there are few aids to keeping on the right frets as you play the scales. Finally, the useful linkage between scales and their underlying chords is omitted.

This book corrects all these problems, and will get you playing the most useful scales fast - with information on what notes you are actually playing so you can compose solos and melodies with single notes and parts of their relevant chords.
