Book Synopsis
As a birth doula and childbirth educator that focuses primarily on unmedicated births, I love learning, reading, and sharing information with families in preparation for welcoming a new family member. The Family Companion Booklet is a collection of handout-style informational pages to help make navigating some of the information surrounding the season of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum a little easier on families. In addition, you will find a few worksheets and prompts you may use to help you plan, prepare, and navigate options. Finding information, sifting through books, websites, blogs, medical journals, and studies is overwhelming. It is the purpose of this book to make it a little easier on you.
