LIKE A CROCUS

Since writing her spiritual legacy, "The Journey is the Treasure," J. H. Klotz has continued to write narrative poetry for and about her family: her husband, four children, six grandchildren, and friends. She was a homeschooling parent for many years and has assisted one grandchild in her homeschooling venture to excel through the Covid year. Many of the poems in "Like a Crocus" are based upon everyday stories and incidents documenting humorous occurrences and life lessons the author has learned along her walk as well as stories shared from the lives of others. This collection is printed solely for the purpose of passing on memories to our children, some of whom have heard a few of the incidents herein, but many have not been shared with them at all… just recorded. Thus, by collecting and placing them in one large volume containing many of the poet’s recorded verse, she hopes it will be a record and perhaps even passed on to future generations (for historical purposes), as an ancestral poet of the author's, which jotted down in the 1700’s. My prayer and hope is that each reader be blessed, and encouraged to write her/his own stories!
