Book Synopsis
Learning to Play Guitar Guitar by Bob Fetherolf is a comprehensive method book that covers the basics of beginning and intermediate guitar study for any guitar be it acoustic or electric. It includes chords and scales studies and exercises, tuning basics, strumming lessons, note reading on guitar, flat picking, glide picking, and other finger picking basics. By including some basic music theory lessons, the learner receives a solid foundation in music as well as the ability "not just play some guitar", but to "play music on the guitar”. Also included is a fascinating history of guitar as well as in-depth strumming technique and variations, informative illustrations on guitar and pick grip, improvisational scales, positions, and tablatures, and many classic guitar tunes to teach guitar chordal progressions, chord families, chord charts and so much more! This is literally "Five Books in One"!

This book is literally four books (or more) in one ! For the "first time beginner" to the intermediate player that wants to learn more, or "refresh" what he knew at on time and fill in the gaps, this book is a huge value and an indispensable resource.
