Book Synopsis
Does the Quixote Trail really exist?

Its “existence” was given rise to by the character Don
Quixote, created by Miguel Cervantes de Saavedra, in The
Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha (1605), the
book we commonly refer to as Don Quixote.
The Trail does have a certain existence in that it comes from the
mind and travels of Cervantes, but the Quixote Trail itself is drawn
from the fictional adventures of Don Quixote.

In this book, the author takes a spiritual trip, following a virtual
route, often on his own feet, attempting to piece together the mind
and body of Cervantes--played out through the character and quests
of Don Quixote and his squire, Sancho Panza.

As Mr. Fabbro writes:
“Don Quixote is the mind of Cervantes looking to be nurtured with
order and logic, and Sancho Panza is Cervantes’ body looking to be
nourished in order to live. Don Quixote is on a quest to find a
sublime ideal, while Sancho is only looking for a decent meal.”
