Book Synopsis
This is a verse-by-verse commentary on the Old Testament book of Jeremiah. Jeremiah recorded the promise of the New Covenant with striking pictures of God's faithfulness to his people. The book can easily be viewed as a fruitless work of a faithful prophet, and yet his work was fruitful and his words stood as a faithful witness for those who returned to the land, and those who endured the consequences for rejecting God's words.
