Book Synopsis
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is a personal collection of devotions intended to encourage the reader to seek and see the Lord in every aspect of their life.
The enemy of our souls would have us subscribe to the mentality of being endlessly busy, and therefore it being excusable to relegate God to a Sunday morning church service, if that. Thus, many in our churches today are powerless Christians and/or Christians in whom faith and fellowship with God is sorely wanting.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is not just a book to be read as part of our daily devotions. It is a collection of thoughts and instructions to inspire the reader to meditate upon the Lord and His Word.
It is important for us to keep in mind that Adam and Eve enjoyed fellowship with God as He walked in the cool of the day in the Garden. (See: Genesis 2:8 KJV) But as explained in the Benson Commentary on the Old and New Testaments: “A sad change [took place]! Before they had sinned, if they heard the voice of the Lord God coming toward them, they would have run to meet Him.” Sin entering in through disobedience caused them to flee from God, and man has been running away from God for fear of His wrath since that moment.
But, that changed when Jesus said from the cross, “It is finished.” Christ gave Himself as the Lamb of God sacrificed for our sin, so that we could once again walk in the presence of our Lord. We need not hide ourselves from God, because the Blood of Christ has made it possible for us to be restored to fellowship with God.
I Feel The Presence of The Lord is intended to open our eyes to being in the Glorious warmth of His presence.
My friends, it is my most sincere prayer, that this book will help every person who reads it to become more aware of the presence of the Lord in their life, that comes from being obedient to His Word.
All of the Scripture verses are taken from the King James Version of the Bible.
I pray you will know the grace, peace, comfort, and the presence of God our Father, through Jesus Christ His Son, and the indwelling of His Holy Spirit.
