Book Synopsis
The Rev. Dr. Robert M Holmes (1925-2005) was a united Methodist minister, counselor, college chaplain and producer of a popular series of 90-second radio and television programs called "LifeLifters", the thinking person's answer to televangelism. He was beloved by many as one of the great preachers, who could talk as easily to the unchurched as to his own congregations. His gentle wisdom will be cherished in these troubled times for many years to come.
As he grew older, Bob Holmes spent much of his time writing about how the average person could enter into a deeper relationship with their own spiritual nature, whether they considered themselves religious or not. When he died he left behind some unpublished manuscripts which have now been completed using elements of his other writings. Here he writes with wit and wisdom on enlivening the various and surprising aspects of our spiritual dimension as we age.
