Book Synopsis
Forsaken Gian Vero departs a group home to steal lodgment in a gymnasium before his discard from fist-sport displaces him. Impairment denies Vero employment and a military career embarks instead. Basic training leads to abrupt placement in open war as he and other young men become aware that they are considered negligible. Vero faces conviction and confinement while his misunderstood condition invites disorder and loss.
