I just finished reading Her Honor's Secret and man oh man talking about a girl on fire! Deatrice Toney-Duncan is a girl on fire! I heard the chatter on the street and if she is Khrystyna Kendrick, then I say whoa Landon and Laura watch out and wow Darren you must be all that! This is a movie for real --no, a weekly show cause people gonna always wanna know what Khrystyna up to next. I know I can't wait. When I first heard about it, I went to Netflix thinking it was a movie and was disappointed cause I haven't read a book in a long time but I sure as hell can't wait for the next one to come out. This book was girly getting what she want how she want it when she want it from beginning to end.

I work at a luxury hotel in New Orleans and a group of us employees was talking about this book when a well known actress overheard us and asked about it cause we was saying the author was a creole chick from right here in New Orleans. She asked if one of us would get the book for her. You know we did cause homegirl one of us even if she don't live here no more. Can I say that she read the prologue by the pool and on her way back to her suite, she thanked us for the book and said sounds kinda fire and smiled. Geaux girl! Don't know what she plan to do with it, but I hope she do something with it. New Orleans get all the bad press and stuff cause of all the stuff that go down here and well this is a drama that we can enjoy cause all her killings is personal personal for true :) But that's how we rock. Get em before they get you and she get em ya'll! 9th ward! Tyler, Oprah where ya'll at?

I stand corrected my sister...YOU are the girl on fire! This book was all that! Fiction? Yeah, right! I saw the fire "Khrystyna and Darren" made with every page I turned. And all I can say is give "Mr. Drake" back his name because he so obviously does not know or deserve your worth. Wow! The subtle non-fictional excerpts in this book makes one want to spy on "Khrystyna's" life to see what's going to happen next, so I join those wanting to see this on the big screen. Til then, girl...do what you do....go get him and we'll meet on the red carpet at your premiere...One thing though: Blue Diamonds? Yeah! Now that is a man worthy of it all----much love sister Ice Princess ...and you know my name :)
