Gravestone Secrets "How To Clean and Preserve Your Memorial" includes both background information and details on how to clean and preserve various types of memorials. The book is a tool to educate owners on what they need to care for their stones and markers. It also includes some entertainment through the Stories found in Part 3 of this book. The book hopes to provide readers with education which remains the greatest challenge for the survival of the memorials. The Author researched and found various reasons why memorials are unkept or not cleaned properly. Two main reasons surfaced. Humans and mother nature destroy memorials. Aside from nature, there are usually good reasons why headstones go unkempt, some family members may lead a busy life, are not physically capable, live too far from the cemetery or may not know the cemetery's responsibilities. The core reason memorials are slowly deteriorating: people don't have the knowledge they need to take care of their loved one's memorial.
